MaxSpool Engineering® 24 / CR Cummins Dual Valve springs and matching billet retainers
are a must for any high-performance diesel engine. These engines build more boost, make more power
and run higher rpm then ever before . We have done extensive research and development with track
testing to build the best application-specific valve springs for diesel enthusiast. We didn't simply
repackage springs that fit but were not optimal for the application. We started from a clean sheet of
paper. When extraction more power from diesel engines ,rpms, boost, and corresponding exhaust back
pressure are raised. The factory springs simply were never intended for these added stresses.
MaxSpool Engineering® developed the dual valve spring design for the Cummins 4 valve
engine to control harmonics and provide the needed stability. With two smaller springs instead of one
larger spring MaxSpool Engineering® dual springs have a lower active mass and a higher natural
frequency providing improved valvetrain control.
MaxSpool Engineering®valve springs are developed from high strength alloys, heat-treated
and stress relieved, which dramatically increases the spring’s life.
MaxSpool Engineering® Dual Valve Springs are supplied with MaxSpool Engineering®
designed billet chrome-molly Retainers. The optional Titanium Retainers are for engine exceeding
5000 rpms.
