Part # 2869-3T. Fits 1994-2002 Dodge 1500 and gas 2500 trucks with 15:1 gear ratio. If you are unsure which ratio you need please go read our FAQ “You Offer Multiple Ratios For My Vehicle. Which Ratio Should I Choose?†A general rule of thumb is if your Dodge has a gas engine you more than likely have a 15:1 ratio. If your Dodge has a diesel engine you more than likely have an 18:1 ratio.
This part is also available in the 18:1 ratio.
We now offer the frame stabilizers for this gearbox. If you have 1994 to 2002 2×4 Dodge then you need to order part number 32002. If you have 1994 to 2002 4×4 Dodge then you need to order part number 32004.
PRE-TAPPED PORTS OPTION:
Red-Head offers a porting option for those that are either already running a hydraulic assist steering or plan to in the future. If you choose to make this upgrade to the box (from the drop-down menu), your gearbox will come with two pre-drilled and tapped ports with plugs. For clarification, hydraulic assist is NOT something your vehicle would have come from the factory with, rather it is an upgrade that adds a hydraulic ram to the steering linkage to aid in steering. Most vehicles do NOT have this option, thus if you are unsure if you have it, you probably do not.
