The BorgWarner EFR 8374 is designed for enthusiasts and professionals who demand both high horsepower capability and lightning-fast response. Capable of supporting up to 750 horsepower, this turbocharger delivers outstanding performance in time attack, drift, and high-power street applications.
At the heart of the 8374 lies a 74mm Gamma-Ti (titanium aluminide) turbine wheel, perfectly paired with a 62.6mm inducer / 83mm exducer Forged Milled (FMW) compressor wheel. This advanced combination allows the turbo to move up to 79 lb/min of airflow and produce more than 45 psi of boost, making it one of the most impressive all-around performers in the EFR lineup.
The 8374 utilizes BorgWarner’s largest EFR compressor housing, making it a superb choice for single-turbo setups in the 475–750 HP range, or as part of a twin-turbo configuration producing 1,400+ HP. Built with ceramic ball bearings for ultra-low friction and rapid spool, the unit also supports optional water cooling for enhanced durability under demanding conditions.
