ISSPRO’s new R82006 Programmable Output Driver allows users to control an external device using any ISSPRO EV2 gauge.
The output driver module easily mounts to the back of the gauge and features an output which can switch up to 10 amps on or off at a programmable set point, independent of the gauge’s programmable warning light.
Application examples include engaging an electric cooling fan when coolant temperature exceeds a specific level, or shutting down an engine if oil pressure drops below a set level.
R82006 output driver modules may also be wired in series so multiple factors can be monitored together. R82006 units wired in series could be used to turn on water injection if boost and EGTs simultaneously exceed programmed levels, for example.
The functionality of the R82006 is selected using the same simple R82003 cable and programming software that is used to set the warning light levels on ISSPRO EV2 gauges.
