Accurate Monitoring: Your fuel gauge remains fully functional. Because of the expanded volume, the needle will hold on "Full" for the first 5�7 gallons before descending normally through the rest of the tank.
The "Hidden" Reserve: Your truck�s "Distance to Empty" (DTE) will still calculate based on the original 24-gallon capacity. For example, if you are averaging 20 MPG, your dashboard might show 480 miles to empty, while your actual range is a staggering 800 miles. You�ll always have more miles in the bank than the computer thinks.
