TOOL-FREE SNAP-IN LID
The updated snap-in lid design eliminates the need for screws, allowing for fast installation and effortless filter checks. A silicone edge seal creates a tight barrier against heat and contaminants that can rob power. Each kit includes an oversized, high-efficiency air filter that improves airflow while safeguarding your engine. Choose between an 8-layer cleanable cotton filter or a maintenance-friendly dry extendable filter.
HIGH-QUALITY SILICONE MATERIALS
Key components—including the air filter, coupler, lid seal, and box plug—are constructed from premium silicone. Unlike standard rubber, silicone offers superior sealing, durability, and longevity. It withstands temperatures up to 400°F without cracking, tearing, or degrading over time.
ADJUSTABLE AIRFLOW OPTIONS
Increased airflow leads to increased power. This intake system provides dual air entry points: a large fender opening and an additional bottom scoop. For drivers who want more control, an included box plug allows the lower scoop to be sealed, letting you tailor airflow to your driving conditions.
When Should the Box Plug Be Used?
Factory intake systems often restrict airflow, which is why S&B designs custom airboxes with expanded and secondary openings. However, cooler intake air also plays a role in performance. For that reason, a box plug is included to close the lower inlet if desired. For most applications, S&B recommends running the intake without the plug, except during extreme heat conditions.
