All units come with a 1/2" J2044 Male Quick Connect for the suction line and a 1/2" Female Pushlock adapter connection for your hose.
as shown in the picture.
The original 5/16 and 3/8 QC module ports are intact. The 5/16 for your injection pump return and the 3/8 port may be used for your AirDog II return or other pumps with low return volume.
*Pumps with a high volume return should follow the pump manufacturers recommendation for installation. Failure to do so could result in changes in fuel pressure.
The resistor boards on fuel modules are fragile so care should be taken during installation not to drop the module or put unnecessary pressure on the float arm or the resistor board unit. Boards can crack and not be easily visible to the naked eye.
Fuel level sensors are tested before they are packaged for shipment at our location and the impedance measurement recorded on the invoice. It is recommended they be tested by the installer just prior to installation to be certain no damage occurred during shipment or handling.
Using an OHM meter connect leads to the two center pins on the plug. There should be an approximate 180-200 Ohm spread from low to high.
MFM units do not have a pump inside.
For 98.5-04 Dodge Ram only, fuel gauge will not read properly if used on pre 1998 12v applications,
